can't put my finger on it, though when i compare it to your c&j, i'm missing something.
I think I know what you mean, fritzl. It's in the details. The waist of the C&J's (I'm thinking of the Belgrave–337 last) is a bit more pronounced, and the curvy stitch lines along the sides are more fluent; those lines are more angular on the Greve's. All in all, the C&J's are a touch more elegant, but don't fit me as well, unfortunately, hence the MTM experiment. I'll do a one on one photo comparison with my Belgraves one day.

No piss so far. R u going to start the shitstorm? [IMG]

Thanks for the compliment. A few weeks ago that would have been met with arson in my closet, but now that you're kicking ass on a regular basis, I can relax and take it. Nice knot, btw. I have a shitcock of a time getting good knots out knit ties....

Perfectly understandable. I can only speak for myself, but i definitely value the critic of master dressers more than junior gents (not saying that i go in the first category).
The thing with knit tie knots is that the fabric is of loosier and lighter construction, which makes it harder to get it to dimple...

In the first one you look like a new york times reporter who doesn't play by the rules waiting on his contact from the Chinese embassy so that he can spill the beans on a major conspiracy between them and national Jedi Council. Sure, you get yelled at by your editor a lot, but you don't care! The only thing that matters is the truth, and you get the truth.
Well done, titsworth! This should be our next challenge. Post pics of an outfit along with a fun background story.
We'll call it the J. Peterman Challenge.

Sir. Ostrich or GTFO. Just sayin'...
Did I mention that I don't live in Texas?

    Or Vegas?

I don't think I can agree with this enough. How would that be implemented though? Would we come up with stories and be judged on how well they fit the outfit, or would we put the outfit together and have other people come up with stories (as in this case), then compete on that?

Hello all, The sleeves are a little short, I know. But what say you of the colours? [IMG] Forgive the photo quality.

Haha, agreed. Reminds me of Clive Owen in the BMW films.
Those were just awesome. The Madonna one was funny, but I like each director's take. I should go through them again...

A very rumpled Saturday look - Ariston Linen, Thomas Mason Shirt, Drakes Knit, White Jeans, Hermes pochette.

Really like this, Ethan. Wore linen today as well...

    Hello all,

I actually really like the colors, but yeah, jacket's too short all around. Swap the tie for a solid brown or navy to ground everything.

^ (MaybeItsHate): I think that with those colours and patterns the short sleeves do work! Very creative and 'cool' dressing there!

Ethan desu: my (mixed) linen blazer never wrinkles that nicely at the sleeves but only on the front....[IMG]
