    Grow bigger shoulders! :satisfied:

I agree with TTO - not that it's bad - it just looks more 'cocktail party' than business. And with lapels that narrow and the button point so low it really shows a lot of tie - which sorta makes me want to suggest a narrower tie. But then with the narrower tie the whole look is going to go very 'Mad Men' and that doesn't strike me as what you are after.

I vote move it along. Sorry.

I agree, its going to B&S after the cleaners. I dont like the combo either. I guess you should really go with your instincts most of the time. Thanks for the input though!

And yeah - Bleachy whats up wit dat?!

TTO - I don't think the shoes work in that outfit
Lufty - assuming the shirt does not have any luftyesque patterns, this is perfect (but for the awful shoes, but I know its your thing)
    Spoo - sell the suit

    Seppuku.

Seriously, it never happens to me - I'm perfect!

Well......I go home for lunch most days..........I might make an adjustment if I've worn something that I didn't realize was somehow stained or damaged or something. But more often than not if I'm just not loving the combo I don't even bother - I just rock on the same look for the rest of the day - confidence is half of the game anyway.

What would you suggest, I need more shoe options, just trying to figure out what to invest in...by invest, I mean spend as little as I can whilst still getting good, useful stuff!

there is nothing worng with the shoes (they are suede?) I just think the top half is bright (white shirt/purple tie) and the shoes don't go with that. I think any dark brown calf shoes would be fine or if you are Spoo, any dark purple croc shoes would work.

Thanks, I was heading out for the evening to have to much to drink so I thought the black shoes would work, If I had purple crocodile opera pumps, they would, naturally, have been my first choice! Thanks for the reply Ed.

VictorSF, you keep surprising and elevating this thread endlessly. I'm rarely moved one way or another by the pics on WAYWRN, but yours make a difference.

Now this, I like.. It looks like a cooler weather suit, and if it were mine, I'd have paired this with a sober, black wool tie.. Beautiful suit though!
