    That's great Victor.
Playing only with squares is a hell of a job, but you did it perfectly.
It's always a pleasure to see your posts here.

    Cheers

Try a different tie, for starters, like a traditional repp stripe.

No need to pile on. :)

Thanks for the comments and thumbs guys, yes indeed, this was at the new temporary pavilion at the Serpentine Gallery in Hyde Park.
The coat is part of a vintage bespoke suit from Simms & Macdonald that arrived just yesterday, I think the coat fits pretty well without having had any alterations done and the trousers will be an easy alteration, if it weren't for the hole in them!
not sure what to do about that!

I do appreciate it sir. Anyone who is looking for these Drakes ties, visit Gyasih's signature!
Thanks guys - they are vintage by way of the RJman archives.
You could get easy $65-$75 on eBay for that.
    I appreciate that mang.
I really think you are my Russian doppelgänger. :fistbump:
I did... I get to train a new EVP by myself. Fun.
Thanks -- today is by StyleForum's own DC Lewis, yesterdays were Crockett & Jones Edgware.

Your tie is too short, it should reach your belt. Your shirt's collar points should hide below the lapels.

Great SC. Maybe a more moderate shirt?

Contrast in value (i.e. the contrast of light vs. dark) can be important, but what I was aiming for with today's fit was some form of color balance - the gold, the rather saturated French blue of the shirt and the rich brown of the suit (relieved, in part, by the blue windowpane overplaid) - each kept in check by the other. I can understand the usage of a black & white photo to show the potential lack of contrast in values, but for today's fit, but sometimes color stands by itself, regardless of value. Tomorrow's fit will be all value contrasts - trust me on this.

It's okay Kevin, I can kind of see that it's a bedazzled female torso thing, and thus I can imagine the boobies.

Agree with the comment above stating the sleeves might be just a tad short. Other than that, I think this is a beautiful suit and I do enjoy the mix of the boldly striped shirt and dotted tie as well. I guess some would argue that the trousers would get a cleaner break with a bit of shortening, but to each his own.

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions!

I'll try to listen and sometimes try to dress more strictly.
I'll try not to make too many difficult roll calls of colors and patterns, though playing with each other, but sometimes too lively and colorful.
Thinking that the conciseness and consistency - quite deserve to be put on a strict style more often.

    Thank you! [IMG]

This has been mentioned before, but I think that the prominent stitching on the jacket detracts from the overall look. The fit is superb, but I would ask your tailor to make the stitching more subtle on future orders. It would turn an excellent look into a perfect one.

    Thank you! Realizing the future!

Perhaps the appearance of seams adds lighting and camera. In real life they are much less noticeable.

    Thanks again! [IMG]
