1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I like the entire fit, but this combination is really strong. Nice work.

Not great fit shots, but the g/f's a photographer and wanted to do a shoot with me, so:

you have nice clothes, but your pose is ridiculous man. relax a bit - unless that is how you stand naturally, in which case, i dont know what to say.
    - DRAW! Kapow..
Perhaps you could publish an official photo template so we know what is acceptable. Like for passports!
As it is people are just taking photographs all willy-nilly, which clearly isn't working for you.
    Nice tie.

    - very funny & maybe we should have a SF template to d/load. I have this vision of taped out areas like a crime scene [IMG]
    - FWIW it's hard to actually comment on colour/pattern/balance & proportion when people decide to shoot:
    • downward angle
    • upward angle
    • dark cubicle
    • bad lighting
    • sitting down
    - Yes I do post cropped in pics, but I have a track record & tend to choose them for a reason & not just to show how out of focus the lint is
standing robot photo is what is understood as the official "fit" pic
    - Thanks to the Mafoo
Gorgeous tie, PG. The jacket looks a little rumpled or ripply below the buttoning point. Is the wind blowing?
    - combination of long day in the saddle that causes some wrinkles & spicy food.. FUK I have dinner at a BAD Korean restaurant tonight so tomorrow will be a BLAST
PG - Your attention to detail is so consistently good that i am baffled by your pants lately and assuming its just the pictures not doing them justice.

I know you've been leaning to a fuller cut, but it seems like they are not cut as well as your jackets. Makes the upper parts of your fits look great, and the lower end not.

    Thoughts?

    - combination of A(shin) F(lat) A(ss) S(yndrome), over extended knees, sitting in con-call calls all day (now I know why call centre operators look like that) & still work in progress
    - but I agree & we are working on the pattern as these are V1
Some helpful advice I got from PG was to lift your arms and twirl before taking the pic. I've found it keeps me from stiffening up. It loosens you up, which I think is part of what's being talked about.
    - Oh shit, I was joking [IMG]
You don't have to set up your camera on the riverside and take a picture of yourself floating downstream on a gondola or anything. Just try to relax.
    - you are on fire today.. [IMG]
It's all good. Maybe the fact that no one has anything bad to say about the way you dress says it all? [IMG]
    - I agree & I'm sure I mentioned this to the OP
    Interview:
    - Nii beat me to it
    - collar could be tighter - a little lose currently
    - jacket needs some shaping, especially from the buttoning point downwards. looks like you are carrying a glock on each hip ... lol
    - pants could do with a little more hemming, or suspenders to hold them up
    - good luck on the interview man!!

This one isn't CBD, but with a rare 85 degree day I had no intention of wearing socks.
    - I have been consistently liking your RL garb of late
    Great collar-who makes the shirt?
    Sweet knot, too.

    - Bespoke Ascot Chan
Was hoping this would be an improvement over my cameraphone restroom photography, but sadly, the fact that I've been wearing this thing all day isn't going to win me any beauty pageants.
    - fit & rumples aside, I would work on the colors as the blues are to close from my PoV

More full legged trousers. Slightly lower button point on this SC - still a little high maybe?

Buttoning point looks good to me. I also like the height of the gorge, and the patch pockets... who makes the jacket?

Well then that should attest and cement that you should only use your powers of influence for good, and that I am not completely resistant to direction (despite what some may say [IMG] )

The rest of the advice was good, and obviously helped. The whole arm thing helps too, and was easy for me to accept because it's very similar to other things that I've had to do in my time as a performer.

    Anywho,

Before anyone berates me again over the fit of the suit; I know, and I have more "flattering" suits on the way... [IMG]

Much better pics and angle. Get the suit yet?

Yes to the SC. I think the BP is fine, nice fit. Not loving the fullness of the pants.

So I go back to work tomorrow and return to posting pics. Go CBDish or splashy coming back from a 7 day vacay? [IMG]

Still waiting on the postman. It'll likely be another week before it makes its way back to WAYWRN unless you're my exact double. Thanks again, btw. [IMG]

Either hold the camera lower, Navi, or get a cheap tripod so you can experiment with camera positions. These shots from on high distort you too much to be helpful. Also, a tripod will let you escape the mirror, which is apparently in a poorly lit room. Try to get outside or near a big window.

Funny you should say that, TB, because I just bought a tripod today. [IMG]

My pictures should hopefully start improving ALOT so yay to that! Having to hold the camera sucks. [IMG]

Not what I wore today, but I was posting this in the CBD thread to "delight" Manton, so I'll throw it up here too.

Naw, I'm back and forth on cuffs. Sleeker stuff doesn't get them. Other stuff may or may not.

Thx, Inland. SC is partnopea. BY the way, nice accessory.

^Thx, Mike. I am starting to feel the opposite-- like the coat is a little too fitted, and I agree the trousers could use a slight slimming, but it was an experiment in progress.

My iPhone once fell out of my pants pocket and landed in one of my cuffs while I was in a change room. The pants were hanging at about eye level. No case. Cement floor.

I'm a firm believer in the power of cuffs.
