Epaulet
H&M
J. Crew
Stetson (vintage)

Shirt looks a little loose but it's straight outta the box & should shrink just enough upon first wash.

Alright, since my first entry here was witheld until moderated, here it is again. Let's see how you like it...

Hi all, my first post on this forum.

This is me today:
  • Gentiluomo shirt, very light pink
  • SIlk tie, burgundy/pink/white stripes, origin unknown
  • Silk/wool mix suit, grey with a hint of green, bespoke, made in Venice, Italy
  • White cotton pocket square
  • Shoes (out of sight) are Minichino whole cut, cognac colour with matching belt

Best regards,

Stefan

Way better, not only because of the color and pattern/fabric of the tie, but because I also thought it was too slim.
Nobody mentioned the breast pocket so far? Haven't seen a lot of them on SF, no offense, but always thought they were a sign for OTR shirts worn by engineers and public servants?

funny, because i actually prefer a pocket on my shirts. I take my jacket off when i get to my office and need a place to keep my pen when im walking around my building. Its not a huge deal, but if given a choice id probably pick a shirt with a pocket

I am the same way. I look for shirts with chest pockets, or I have them made with them. I need a place to put my sunglasses, pen, business cards, etc. when I don't have my jacket on (especially with this 105F+ heat we are having in Texas at the moment).

The jealousy of some posters here managed to drive Victor away, thanks.

Looks good. The tie isn't something I would wear but I think it's working for you. Smaller knot might help things. If I may suggest, perhaps try putting the camera higher up for taking shots like this, the perspective is throwing everything off slightly.
Kevin, this is easily one of your best IMHO. Liking the more subdued look. Great stuff.

because he looks like pear and needs extended shoulders and I assume no OTR works for him.

Thanks for the input here - noticing a lot of my jackets tend to do this. I suppose I'm pear shaped but maybe not as much as the last fit pic suggested.

Maybe having a jacket a bit fuller in the chest might help - or maybe a bit less waist supression. I did have a tailor once suggest to me that closing the vents slightly might help to pull the bottom of the jacket in slightly. Or maybe I should get some tips from Victor and beef up.

Probably throwing myself to the lions but what the hell - I'm here to learn...

I *think* this jacket tends to look slightly better fit-wise:
