Managed to get home alive in one piece last night...

Not 100% convinced on jacket / tie but was in a rush...

Malford, so you're the one who nicked those Tom Fords on eBay.co.uk right under my nose... ;)

Think the combo is ok. And I love those shoes.
But the jacket doesn't do anything good for you. The button stance is too high, and kinda makes it flare.

    I've noticed that :(

Most of my jackets tend to do that. I'm a 38" chest and 34" waist. It's tough to find a good fit OTR.

Would it not be best to work with a UK40 and have it tailored down to give the impression of a fuller chest?

My shoulder measurement is also akin to a 38. The amount of work which needs to be done on a usual UK40 is quite extensive and it usually ends up looking odd.

Maybe I just need to beef up...

Why not just go bespoke, much easier than either option we've mentioned?

Looking into it at the mo.

Might just be an unflatering cut on that jacket.

This fit is a 38 with a similar buttoning point so might have to work out what the differences in cut are and take it from there:

I'm in Houston and in the market for bespoke so will look forward to more reports. Which tailor are you using? That looks a bit like Mr Jimmy Ahmed's place on Chimney Rock?[/quote]

It's Nick Lopez Tailors. I won't take my good stuff anywhere else. Also has a huge selection of fabrics for bespoke.

    Summery day!

Before I get any flack on the Thom Browne-esque length of the trousers - they are minimal break, they were simply rolled up two rolls to keep them from getting dirty while I ride my bicycle :)
