Cheers, Urban, and good to see you back. When will you resume posting Outfit pics again?

The felt flower: just a bad habit o┬┤mine, justified by youth and carelesness.

Victor, Don't apologise for anything Mister. Your posts are wonderful, and your outfits are quite remarkable. People complaining are probably jealous in the extreme!! :nodding:

Phat - I never thought about facing the patches forward for the reason you mention on the bRog. Makes perfect sense, actually. Thanks for the information today.

VictorSF - I am continually impressed by several things - your apparent vivaciousness for life, your eclectic mix of sartorial choices, and most definitely the quality of your photography. Please keep it up!

    Why do we drink?
    (to get drunk!)
    why do we roll smoke?
    (to get stoned!)
why must we live out the songs that we wrote?
    (to get laid!)

    And nine months later??!! :D

    This made me laugh. [IMG]

Agreed. I'd want a bigger collar on this, but I love the ensemble overall. Gnatty, care to provide deets on that jacket?

Victor I really like this outfit. Much panache in an avant garde sort of way!! The attention to detail, the bulldog cufflinks are seriously cool, the edging on the pocket square, the working jacket buttons, the textures of the fabrics, the little black reinforcements to the pocket corners, to the button up fly on the trousers. To top it all, the whole outfit is monochromatic. If i were to be at all negatively critical, I would say that i find it hard to believe that the hems in your trousers are not set at the correct length and stitched considering all the other attention detail shown. But maybe this is an American/Russian thing - dont hem your trousers, and dont bother to wear socks half the time. ** Note: ** Maybe some one wiser on the mores of american style can wise me up on this issue. Until then I will remain truely fascinated.

Thanks and sorry guys, collar was a deliberate choice.. I generally try to keep at least some harmony between the size of a collar and the size of the tie/knot. If the tie was wider, I absolutely agree this collar would have been too small, but given the tie is probably 2" at it's widest, pairing it with a larger collar woudl tend to lead to this effect: [IMG] which is not the look I am going for, lol Coat is Ermenegildo Zegna
