In Philadelphia, there's 24/7 preliminary arraignment court, so any person who is arrested will have his bail set and know of the charges against him within a few hours of his arrest.

Unfortunately, for defense attorneys, this means that listings happen all through the night, and one must call the courtroom intermittently throughout the night (22:00; 24:00; 3:00) to determine when to get down to the courthouse to argue bail. Needless to say, I did not have a restful sleep last night.

    Niidawg, Gnatty, Sugarbutch, and Philosophe,

Thanks for your comments. I would like to chalk your observations up to bad photography on my part (to some degree, that is true for today's fit - trust me, today's blazer isn't as shapeless as it appears in today's photos), but I have to agree that, since I tried the Paul model at Paul Stuart, everything that I own from BB looks boxier.

Now my only problem is the price jump from BB to Stuart's :embar:

In the interim, I will continue to cycle my current collection of suits through my alterations tailor - his ministrations do make a difference in terms of adding shape to the suits that I've brought to him so far. An ongoing project . . .

Hm. I've got some reading up to do.

Meanwhile, a couple of days ago in Scotland. Don't ask about the weather.

I'm on a roll. Posted more fits this week than in the last month. Wasn't sure what to wear with a madras tie, so wore this:
