I respectfully disagree. IMO those lapels are spot on for Banis' build.

I wouldn't mind seeing a little shirt cuff though.

2.5 hrs of sleep after a U2 concert, a fairly decent hangover, and watching the kid by yourself while wifey is away on business looks like this. I probably should have went a shade darker on the shoes.

Socks too matchy with tie. Otherwise great.

    Nice suit, though..!

Er... they match the shoes and trousers, not the tie. :foo:

Wouldn't this depend entirely on the kind of slacks you're wearing? It seems to me that a full break would be entirely appropriate on a full-cut pair of slacks with wide leg openings, especially if they're being wore by a bigger guy. A slight break -- or even no break -- would be appropriate for slim fit slacks with narrow leg openings, no?

They are the color inverse to the tie and basically the same pattern. That looks bad. Too studied. You get it now, bro?

We may agree to disagree but lapels seem too wide to me because they occupy more than half of his chest and past half way the shoulder line, it seems out of proportion but it still looks good. Maybe a lower notch would create a different visual. Since iammatt is here, why don't we ask him what he thinks of it.

    no worries.

i should have been more precise. i'm not promoting the full break. i'm all for the correct length in the conservative manner, i've been taught.(see one of your recent contributions to this thread). i was much more concerned about the cuffs and imo the cuff height ndw is spotting is spot on for his built and frame.
