Today's outfit.

Very nice indeed; perhaps buttoning just one more button on the waistcoat would keep it in check a little more when sitting down (it's fine as is when standing), but I really like the overall look.

Today marks the one year anniversary of my first post.

Congrats; I lol'ed to see you did a stereotypical "SF uniform" post by way of commemoration!

Today is my birthday.

Also, congrats to stitchy on his birthday. What with this, and AAS' anniversary, clearly these are auspicious times...

Probably the best fit I've seen from you @Clags

Make that, "one-of", and I'm on board. It's great.

Lagos VIBESSSS

Great stuff. There's a fellow I know of who dresses exactly like that ***********, albeit with sandals instead of the purse-string shoes.

Like Don Cologne, today was an orange tie day. Release the bunnies!

Pedantry Ahoy!

It's "Hereford".

Correct. I do not subscribe to the sentiment that the wearing of regimental ties be reserved for those having served in those regiments, just as I wouldnt say that tartans can only be worn by members of the clans, but I would certainly not wear a regimental emblem or coat of arms having not served. Of course, choosing one that no one who earned it would wear in civilian life makes any point of confusion moot. Expect a shoeing wearing that near Stirling Lines, however.

Probably doesn't get noticed much in Yerevan, to be fair. The python pockets, though, probably transcend most cultural frames of reference.

Today:

Black Fleece bow tie
Kipper Clothiers shirt
Kipper Clothiers vestJ.Crew Trousers

Back of Vest:

Have at it!

Wearing a belt with a vest is a bit of a faux pas, but your vest is also too short. Make sure it completely covers your waist, so that no shirt (or belt if do wear one) is visible.

Contrast between shirt and waistcoat could possibly be greater but it's not a deal breaker for me in a casual fit like this. However, the more serious issue to me is that waistcoat looks too short. Just my 0.02....

I think the waistcoat is fine. But again klerton's bowtie always seem a little too big.
