Hey man, I enjoyed it. It did the trick for the evening. You did recall I was at a dive bar, yes?

Withaque, the tie is cashmere from Drake's. The pattern in the shirt is so small that it appears solid for the most part and I have always treated it as such when pairing with ties, etc. I will have to reconsider this though. Thanks for the feedback!

Nick is a nice guy. If you decide to have him make up a suit for you I'd love to see what you end up with.

Then that's all the more inexcuseable. Should have stuck to Schlitz or PBR!

PBR would have blown the dive aspect, as it is simultaneously high-brow and low-brow. Sorta of a schrodinger's cat of class. See the following graphic

I have to call bull. There is simply no way that Pabst Blue Ribbon can be considered high brow.

As a universal and prescriptive statement.

Believe it or not, there is a significant hipster revival of crappy canned beer. Olympia, Pabst, Pearl, etc. Been going on for quite some time. So the dubious relationship of hipster = high brow is perhaps really the crux of the issue here, but that's a different debate.

Olympia I could understand. Or the beloved, long gone Rainier.

    But Pabst? Inconceivable.

PBR is a ridiculous ironic hipster revival. It's also a decent cheap ass beer. I guess another suggestion should have been Narragansett, though that's also recently enjoyed a hipster revival.

Maybe you should have stuck to Bud Light instead? :D

It wasnt the diviest of bars, but decidedly lower brow than my average. Shortly after winning trivia, I joined the band in a rousing rendition of blister in the sun. Anyhoo, here's what I'm doing now, some more fodder for you beerophiles:

I am wearing a watch and two bracelets. :) kidding, you are right. It's just a slow Saturday and there's not much else conversation here in the thread.

And yes, a Weiss beer with lemonade. I keeps it real on vacation. The rolladen is done in an hour.

Gaaaah. That's Coors! First AB, now Coors? We need to school you in proper beer drinking, sir, and elevate your beer choices to match your wardrobe. :teach:

Nothing's inherently wrong with Beer/Lemonade mixed (Radler is very popular in Germany), but Leinenkugel's not a good example, IMO. Lots of added sugars and artificial flavors. You need to have a good Saison, or even a Gose.
