Answers:
1. We're lazy and/or don't want take the time;

2. I don't get that either or appreciate it.

I found out recently that there are fits posted on his blog. I thought at somepoint I had seen that the blog was nothing but the same text, but it does include pictures.

Yes, and oh what pictures they are - exhaustive in detail (they expand if clicked on), and of uniformly expensive articles of attire, if often not what I would have chosen given the same funding.
