We should have a one-off seersucker challenge on Friday. Anyone down?

I can probably do it. My seersucker needs altering, but it'll do in a pinch.

I really dont want to poal this out. FWIW, I was not 100% on the tie today, but I disagree with Orgetorix that I had too much PS showing. I think it was appropriate for the look.

Yes, it was in step with the overall look. But still too much. [IMG]

What I love about that photo is that he is sitting down with his DB suit buttoned.

I know it, I hate when I see people's DB's unbuttoned, even while sitting.

Well I was gonna give you shit but now I guess I'll just eat it.

That jacket is WAYYYYYY too short, SB.

    Mike

+1 - and too tight across the middle, apparently, from the photo shown. However, the shoes are perfect (as I own the same ones [IMG] - BB Peals, yes?).

Such are the perils of buying tailored clothing from fashion-driven retailers. Can't disagree with either criticism, but I'm pretty sure this is how it's intended to look. [IMG] Anyway, I intend to replace this with a better cut item in a similar fabric, but until then I encourage you to check out the pants, man! I'm digging the hell out of these. (And, yes, Señor Crust, these are the BB Peals.)

Office Day. Trou were freshly pressed before wearing; this is the result of sitting for 4 hours. Note: I really need to start taking pictures from a higher angle - these all make me look like a pear. [IMG] Details.

interesting choise of which bottons are unbuttoned on the SC. i may try that sometime.

He wishes he had curly hair like me. So funny, he wants to be just like me.

    Mike

    Navy with yellow/orange paisley.

Yeah, not as good a shape on this jacket around the hips/waist compared to the suit you posted recently.

It's a sack coat, hence little suppression.

Some crappy iPhone photos today. It was the first truly warm, sunny day we've had so far this year and a great excuse to break out my summer GTH pants.

Isn't that too informal for a wedding party? Great look nonetheless.

I believe that NOBD was attending a wedding, but was not part of a wedding party as such, and yes, definitely worth the requote.

for the average wedding it's pretty damn formal (and looks great)

    Thanks. Informal wedding indeed.

    Worth a requote. [IMG]

    Love everything about this.

While it is still within the confines of "NOBD Uniform Dress," it is excellent...so I will quote you. [IMG]

    Well done!

    Thanks. Appreciate it.

Nice look. Does the shirt have a 2 button or otherwise higher than usual collar? The tie seems pretty high up in the collar bad, based on the amount of button showing in one of the pics.

Me too except I agree with what Holdfast said about the collar band. I don't do cutaways, is this something endemic with them or was this just a one-off? I much prefer the look of IST's bolder collar.

    Both great outfits today.

Thanks. HF: one button, same height as my other shirts. The knot turned out small today"”same height, same tie:

[IMG][/quote] These are some FU pants. Not many men could wear these without looking like clowns, but you look like you own this look.

Right sleeve could use a tweak, otherwise I'm very happy with the fit:
