1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

If you are looking for advice style, Prince Charles is infinitely more preferable to Luca Rubinacci....

Well, i am not saying one is better than the other. They are very different but definitely both stylish in their own way, Prince Charles being obviously much more elegant and classy.

Exactly. The material point is that nobody will look askance at concealed suspenders, so if you are concerned with decorum, they'll probably stay that way; in the right context, however, they can make an appearance, much as you might toss your tie and roll up your shirtsleeves in certain company.

A couple of recent tweed fits. First is a gun check jacket with ecru shirt, burgundy pin dot tie and mid grey flannels. Second is a brown herringbone Harris tweed jacket with light blue end on end shirt, navy wool tie and light grey worsted flannel trousers. The camera angle is making the first jacket appear shorter than it actually is.

Full-length photos can be hard to do well. I’m still working on it myself, and have yet to figure out the best angle to represent accurately the fit and how to get the colors true to life at the distance needed to get the whole fit, so you have my heartfelt sympathy.

If you have a tripod, it’s worth experimenting. I’d start with the camera at about the level of your sternum and pointing straight ahead (that is, horizontal—angled neither up nor down) and adjust from there.

No doubt there are others here who can offer more specific advice.

    Your mileage …

I really like this, but I think it would look better without the cardigan. I think it would just flow a little better. Is the jacket from Uniqlo by any chance?
