1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

AS, I follow and appreciate your aesthetic in general, but this is horrendous. The shade of green. The shoes (frequently discussed point of contention, I know). That colour sock between the pants and the shoes. The talk between the square and the pants. Truly awful. But having said all that, I have no doubt you knew exactly what you were doing.

    Today's fit.

Trying something different. 3 patch casual suit, green BD shirt and no tie

Thanks for the feedback HF - much appreciated. The Hudson is definitely not as good as fit on me as the Lazio, Jort or Sienna. The buttoning point is also rather hight, but as I think I wrote earlier, it is a casual suit for the one or two months where linen is an option, so it will probably stay unbuttoned most of the time. It is on thr other hand the SS suit that has given me the most compliments - especially from the fairer sex ( my wife included :) )

Nice Clags. Am sorely tempted by those Meermin dbs . How are they holding up ? I own the snuff wholecut and find it a bit vulnerable....

I like everything you have here, but I'm not 100% sold on the wide-spread collar with a crewneck sweater, and the shoes are a bit too dressy. I really like the square, but I'm not sure you needed it.

Holding up very well. I actually have an extra pair. I got a 9UK and and 8.5 UK. The 8.5 doesn't fit, but I've been holding off until returning to the states to put them on B&S. They've been worn once.

Thanks. Luckily I am a 7.5 :) they do look great though. Mine have been treated to some severe scandinavian weather and Swims overshoes - which can't be recommended - especially the Swims. Leaves dark marks on the suede that you cannot get rid of...

I like it, but the shades are a little in your face for a close shot. Maybe even for a long shot.
Not against glasses in breast pocket, but prefer to see only only one temple visible, the reverse of what you've done (though it might muck up your lovely PS arrangement). That's how I do it, albeit with smaller frames.

Maybe on a more casual fit, but with a dressy jacket and tie, not working for me.

I had that happen with a pair of Ferragamo and Peal & Co suede shoes when I tried to protect them with Swim overshoes in foul Minnesota weather. I have not worn Swims with suede shoes since.:censored:
