1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

It wasn't ALL over the place, but the shirt and tie (although perfectly fine by themselves) did not look good together. Whether you agree or not is immaterial. What is important is whether you respect the collective opinion of this forum or not.

Never had a chance to take a picture but I picked up this suit on sale over new year hoping it'd fit okay. I think it's alright, what do you think? The tie is a navy knit, it's a bit bluer than it seems from the picture. Actually the shirt has a somewhat more distinct stripe to it that's also a bit lost on the camera due to lighting, which is a pity I really like the shirt here, adds a lot to an otherwise simple outfit. I ended up with darker brown shoes instead than the ones here.

I’d completely forgotten that I owned this tie until I was reminded of it by some of the beautiful stuff over on the Friday Challenge thread (check it out if you haven’t; see SpooPoker’s entry for what most reminded me).

Suit and socks are grey, by the way.

    Cheers,

    Ac

Shirt? That's a jacket homes. A shirt in that pattern is cool, but a jacket in that pattern is [IMG].

AS knows what I'm talking about. Yes, that's an unlined jacket atop some Incotex chinolino pants. I'ma wear that very combo as soon as it gets warm enough!

We do, but I usually post my denim, roll neck, raincoat pics over in S&D or MC casual. Are you and Stitchy planning a WAYWRN coup or something? [IMG]

Done normally post here but figured I give it a try today when wearing something more experimental than my standard navy suit, light blue shirt beats tie outfit.

Casual Friday at work. Realise I'm mixing some summer and winter materials. Greenish tweed jacket, linen shirt, shantung tie, cream flannel trousers, brown adelaides.

It's really hard to capture the true colour of this suit, but the background should more than make up for it.

I wish it was warm enough to swim! I do love the beach in the colder months though, it's nice and quiet. Most people avoid the beach around this time of year, but I make sure to go for a walk at least once a week.

In those shoes? I'd think you'd get sand in them. The prospect of getting sand in my dress shoes makes me feel [IMG]

Usually boots, but if I happen to be wearing dress shoes when I'm in the mood for a walk I won't avoid the beach. I probably don't baby my shoes as much as I should. Didn't get any sand in them today, but if that happens a good shake or two will usually do the trick!

Sand ain't gon hurt your babies, AAS.

As for SW&D, everything I'm wearing falls within the spectrum of MC (even the denim, mimo!). And MC Casual thread is a ghost town. WAYWRN is where my homies are, so it's where I am. :)
