1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Well, my first child hasn't had a negative influence on my wardrobe, but with one more we have to buy a bigger place. And real estate in Copenhagen is pretty pricey..Oh well, can always flog a kidney

Surely a bigger place means more room for clothes...?

Thanks to the Irish contingency for dropping some knowledge for me. [IMG]

I was still feeling a bit green from yesterday, so I went monochrome today. I plan on doing blue monochrome tomorrow.

Bad webcam pics, but just to give you an idea. It's suddenly got so warm here in Tokyo, I broke out the summer pants. There are very lightweight wool by Mediterraneo - quite high-waisted and unsually for me, pleated. But you know what? They feel great and just 'freer' all round - things don't tighten up when you put your hand in your pocket for a start. I am a slim bloke (I run competitively and do triathlon) so hardly the kind of build that 'needs' pleats for comfort, but I am really starting to think that higher-waisted, pleated trousers are just better...

Other deets: jacket is wool / silk by Aquascutum; tie by Passaggio Cravatte; PS by Post-Imperial; shirt by Maker's Shirt (Kamakura); anonymous vintage tie bar; shoes by Stemar.

Wow, some great fits. Holdfast, I especially enjoy the DB bow tie combo. Could never pull it off.

On my side, even though the quality of the pics are crap, I really like how this 3-piece with a DB vest turned out.

RTC - if you are going to do a crazy item, it has to be razor tailored. As such, it looks like a 3button smock coat, or a doctor's white coat died green. Give that thing some better shape, fix the sleeves, do something to the pocket flaps, and you'll have the bizznatches begging to drink your green beer.

Very classically elegant. Have you ever considered narrowing the sleeves a bit? I've noticed the billowing on all of your suits.

Ehh, coming the day after RTC posts a green coat, I up and do this. Possibly too casual for this thread. Shirt is a tattersall.

Feedback is welcome, though of course this is measureably less sedate and coherent than what I typically wear (I say it works, despite the disparate formality).
