1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I was going out to help a dancer friend teach her class, so this picture was in her studio.
Simple charcoal suit with a white shirt. Pocket square in a black/white check but barely visible in the photo. Tie is a knit material. Testing out my Allen Edmond Caryle's(usually don't dance in real shoes, but not bad at all!) Socks for fun :D

You could make a decent living at writing euphemisms for things.

I don't remember who rebloged this on tumblr but I agree with Clags. The second one is not bad at all.

Thanks for all the thumbs, gents! If even I can make it to the 20+ club, it means there's hope for all of us... [IMG]

If calling me a 'know-it all' is your way of admitting that I do know what I'm talking about then, thank-you, you are most welcome.

What I still don't know, however, is what denim (or the C19th) has to do with anything that was being discussed here.

This isn't terrible, but your pants are too long, and I think if you're going to do monochrome everything, then it's a bit odd to do really bright socks.

trousers look to be puddling a bit at the ankles? might be worth shortening a bit to sharpen up the suit

Also horizontal stripe ties aren't all that well regarded here.

Nothing wrong with knitted ties with horizontal stripes, in the right context of course - and a basic charcoal business suit is not the right context. These are much more suited to OCDB + SC or summer blazer-type fits, although there are always exceptions.

I think it looks pretty damn good!

Would be able to judge better if he was standing in the pic though.

Thanks! I chose for brown because black shoes would have made the fit look too severe, IMO. Sorry, this is the only pic I've got and it's a crappy phone pic to boot...
