Nice outfit...except you need to fix your tie length...the thin part shouldn't be longer than the thick and the thick part should come down lower...its too high as it is tied right now

Good catch... I'm certain he did not notice that.

AFAIK this is acceptable form of "sprezz" around here. Hence KN's sarcasm. As long as the "thick part" hits his belt he's good to go. I quite like the casualness of a loose back blade that's even a bit long. As far as Kulata's picture in particular, I can't view it on my current browser but I will examine it later.

L2B... yes... although I don't entirely disagree with PCK (just a little snark bro :p) It would look even better if it were just a tad longer... a little closer to the belt. It grabs a bit too much attention in this look but the rest is fantastic. Love the tones, fabrics ... Kulata is obviously a pretty robust dude and he has a nice presence. Only nitpick might be the jacket sleeves are a tad too long for my tastes.

    Looking good K-Man!

    X-Post from NMWA

Threw this on real quick after getting it back from the Formosa back from the tailor, still hasn't been pressed though...suit, shirt, and tie all courtesy of NMWA.  I think the Formosa turned out awesome. I should have done a robopose to give a better idea of the fit...

I was just playing around with the tie. Thanks for the feedback though

Thanks man. The sleeves are slightly long and I should get it altered but it's one of those jackets I don't want to spend a dime altering.

Thanks everyone. Really should have straightened my tie, but I just threw it on for a quick snap.

This is very nice. I love the clash of purple and green against a very neutral background. And the jacket is beautifully tailored. I'm guessing the TF bit is the tie?

I had to run that vid a few times to be sure, but that's not a four-in-hand Mark Cho is tying. It's a half-windsor. Also I realise that I may have been tying the half-windsor "wrong" for the past thirty-odd years - at 0:11 he passes the long blade to viewer's left. I would have passed it to viewer's right, and the rest of the process would have been a mirror of the video. I just tried Cho's knot now and (1) his method seems to produce a nicer knot, (2) it can be untied just by pulling the short blade through and then tugging on the knot. My version can't.

    You learn something every day...

Would have been a stellar fit with a solid knit tie in that same ground colour. Too much pattern clash as is - makes my eyes whizz around.

Yeah, kind of a mistake on my part. Almost all my trousers have a 1.75" cuff. I was supposed to call the tailor and have a faux cuff added, but I had a busy couple weeks and forgot. I'm not going to lose sleep over it, I still like the outcome.

Now you got me there. My "confusion" started with the wide blade being on the opposite side from my usual get go but just let that one pass. Then I don't wear ties regularly anymore (not usual CBD even in business in IDS). Will try to watch in slomo next time. ;)

Or, you gents can keep scrolling, or use the block list. The points being made have been made before, and seeing them made again is infinitely more tiresome than their cause.
