1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Cross-post from the Friday Challenge. A bit conservative, I fear.

AS, I wish the tie and cardigan didn't match.

It's probably little consolation, but I originally had on a tie in the exact same pattern and color as the jacket. I felt this was the lesser evil. To be honest, I wasn't sure what other color to bring in. Maybe olive?

+1, although it's still nice - @An Acute Style , I am also really starting to notice now that your outfits are consistently improving, the fact that your shoes are equally consistently bringing them down again.

Y'all need to quit hatin' on AAS' boots. Practical choice, and they aren't too far off the chinos in formality. Now, overall, I wished the pants were a more tailored option, and then maybe a sleeker boot. Still, pragmatism has its virtues.

AAS, the tie might work in olive, but a navy knit or grenadine is probably the higher-percentage play.

    EDIT: Or dark brown.

Few things are better than a Drake's wool challis and wool/silk PS, IMHO. Except a Drake's wool challis and wool/silk PS on sale. I love you Exquisite Trimmings.

AS: Butch is right about the tie - navy knit would be peachy, and I also find the boots pretty unobjectionable with the casual trousers and overall feel.

I couldn't find a vendor for you online. I actually looked before responding because I knew that would be your follow-up. I get them at a local shop which seems to get a large batch of overstock from somewhere else a couple of times a year.
