Notice: Right now the site is slow because we are fixing all the images from the past 4 months. Many of you noticed that these were missing, and we are fixing that problem now. Unfortunately, it is taking up a lot of resources and causing the site to be slow.

You will enter this into the Friday challenge, right? This is exactly what I was hoping for when I came up with the topic.....

AS: that is you at your very best, my friend: taking a crazy idea, implementing it, then...stopping. No need to add a loud tie, or silly shoes, or a Black Watch shirt or a feather boa. Just a simple unorthodox idea speaking for itself. You're a truly stylish guy when you do this. I'm sure you don't care too much what I think, but being deliberately eccentric can cross that line between individual and self-consciously foolish - and I mention it because I'm sure I like many of us cross that line from time to time! But when you have that tiny bit of restraint on top of a truly different concept, you hit that sweet spot better than most. *applause*

Donuts, that's a great example of the brown shoes and "lighter" suit look I think I was getting at a couple of pages back. The tie and shirt complement the less formal shoes perfectly. Nice.

Also, by coincidence, a package arrived today to remind me why Shaya "Exquisite" Green is my favourite Joo and Stitchy and his complicated love is only second:

Thank you! The overcoat is from Suitsupply FW'13. I believe it still is online

+1 I would totally buy and wear that in that package. Albeit, you look infinitely better in it, no doubt.

Nice sunny day, 27C, winter is on its way out. But I have a new flannel three piece and it has to be worn at least once!

And if we're doing flannel, might as well add double-soled brogues...

Mimo, we're pocket square twins today, as you will see if and when I get around to posting pics. (Or maybe I shouldn't, this is perhaps the SF equivalent to a woman showing up at a party and realising someone there is wearing the same dress?)

That's at least two we have in common! As long as we don't have matching ties as well I think we're OK. :)

As we doing nearly everything/one else in the other thread, could we not cover the topic of mimo's OD'ed phone replacement there? I vote for Nokia 1020 (41mpx), so we can finally see him clearly.

I do have that Shibumi PS in three colours, burgundy, green and blue - it's surprisingly versatile - I was looking for my green one this morning but could't find it (it's probably still left in the pocket on one of my jackets), so I went with the burgundy one, which it turns out was a sub-optimal choice for me. Yours, OTOH, look stunning with that tie.....
I think Mimo is just naturally blurry.....

DS, sheesh...he wants to talk about the photographs. Seriously, you might be right about the phone; my new company is the Nokia agent among other things, so it's possible.

Thanks, Pingson! From you it counts double. Our other PS in common is the Duchamp flowery green and orange one. I love it. I suspect we might have some Drake's overlap too.

Yea, that one is really nice :slayer:, but at least I find it a little too summery to wear now...
