    Outfit looks so good:
    Bowtie - done perfectly
    Hair - gelled and slicked
shirt cuffs / sleeve ends - perfect

The only thing you did not get right is: shaving your face

How can you go to all the other trouble to dress so nicely and do your hair so nicely and then not bother to shave.

I hope you at least put some grease/dirt under your finger-nails to complete the image, and please do not use underarm deodorant cos you definitely want that "I just got out of bed and have that smelly dirty unwashed smell permeating from you underarms." kinda smell.

Girls, sorry, everyone I know just loves that dirty primeal 'I didnt wash at all today' kinda stink to go with your dirty nails, and unshaven face

No attention to appearance will offset poor manners. Food for thought deandbn.

to add to what's been said...

jacket button stance is a little high
keep the shoes if you must but make a few changes - change the laces from rope to dark brown dress shoe laces, throw on a little darker polish and darken up the white stitching across the shoes, get a cobler to round out the toe box.

    welcome!

I concede that the shoes are probably an acquired taste that not everyone will like...I happen to enjoy them, but can see why others may not. Here are a couple of better pics (sorry for the non-neutral background, best I got right now):

Thanks for the comments everybody - I will try and continue to post fits (this is by far my most non-SF approved jacket, so thought I would start off by setting the bar low and out there so it will be easier to clear in the future [IMG] ).

Nice photos and all, but what's with the Panerai over shirt cuff? My head exploded.

I've seen this sort of hommage to Agnelli-style everywhere lately.

It might just be the greatest of all affectations.

    Can't condone.

C'mon, man. Shirt cuff too small? Watch band too big? This is making lemonade when life gives you lemons. [IMG]

I read something about Agnelli having some kind of metal allergy. I know if my girlfriend wears silver earrings her lobes get all red and irritated.

Cream might be lovely. Light grey perhaps. Tan probably not.
I have been having the same issue. What do people recommend for striped orphan jackets (that one loves, and one is a poor college student) or bona fide sport coats with stripes. I.e. Black with stripes--Grey Trousers? What about light Charcoal with pinstripes? I know that many do not approve of striped odd jackets. That is fine, and I admit the situation is not ideal, but I do not have the budget to replace them with 2 new jackets for my rotation.

    Concurred.

PG's consistently well made and well fitted clothes are if not destroyed then certainly let down by these ridiculous affectations. Unbuttoned collar buttons, jumper round the neck, bracelets and now the Agnelli ... What's the point?

Well made well fitting and well combined clothes should speak for themselves without the need for these gimmicks. He already stands head and shoulders above the vast majority of well dressed males by dint of his personal style. The rest is noise, adds nothing - just not necessary.

Lately this thread has been smelling like something... [IMG] (Hi guys! [IMG] I've pretty much been in shorts and tees, with no real effort in sartorial wonder for work, so I've got nothing to add but my new baby girl.)

The gimmicks are just him having some fun with it. He wears a super pared down minimalist navy-every-day wardrobe, so I figure accessories are his chance to play around.

I doubt you'll get any answers here, because everyone will say no to you. Plus what I'm about to post will get tons of hate, so I'm going to put a spoiler on it. Anyways, to answer your question...
Anyhow, here's a WAYWT pic for me from yesterday. [IMG] What other PS would go with this outfit? Would a white one be better or too close in color to the jacket? Also, what other colors go with this damn green shirt? I have an olive tie, but beyond that, I have no green ties.

Hahaha, despite my 32 years of age I look like a high school kid when I'm newly shaved. This does of course not stop me from shaving before I go into office, but this was my day off, mrs is away and well... I was lazy. Trying to pull this off may seem like a lame attempt at grown-ass-man-style, but I know MBreinin has got that base covered so I'm not even going there.

Re: pink, white better bc of match with jacket or you object to pink+blue?

Too bad, better with white stripes. Donate the shoes to the Goodwill, pronto. They are the ugliest shoes I have ever seen on this site---challengers welcome.

These shoes are actually from an SF-approved maker (or at least linked in the high end shoe thread), albeit a lesser known one, and pretty typical of their shoes...I only have the one pair though, and no plans to buy any more. The rest of my shoes are much more standard....

Enjoy them but do not buy any more like these. Jacket doesn't look too short to me.

BTW I have shoes for sale that cost $3500 because they have bedazzles. They will be big hit here.

Nonsense. Scruff is hot. But loose the neckbeard.

    [/spoiler]

Bracelet, then sleeve, then watch? Slow down, I'm taking notes. [IMG]

It may be just me, but seersucker pants look wrong here.
