1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

This cracked me up, and I agree with much of it. It sounds ridiculous, but honestly it's no more ridiculous than the statements made about jeans. Jeans are not lazy, and they're certainly not "easy." I've been looking for months for a pair of denim that fit the way I want and I still haven't quite nailed it down yet. Also, a good tailor can fix issues with a suit that doesn't fit. Technically, denim can be tailored but it's much more difficult than tailoring a suit. A suit is literally built with the intention of being altered, jeans are not.

I can't tell if you're serious or not but you're both wrong on so many levels it really doesn't even warrant a response. Then again, I never said only suits look good.

I don't know that I'd agree with *lazy*, but I do think it's *easier* to make a nice combo with a suit than a SC. Part of this is I think the increased patterning in many SCs.

This is discarding fit. I think suits can sometimes be far less forgiving on fit and cut, specifically because they match and there is nothing there to hide it. In other words, its possible to make a good combo with a SC if things don't fit just perfect. With a suit, I think this is much harder.

As I see it, you can fuck up any mode of dress. Either you know what you are doing or you dont. There is no easy way out.

+1 to this. And everything in my last post was 100% factual. Anyone is free to disagree but I don't see how what I wrote could be considered wrong on one level, let alone many levels. I say again, jeans are not easy, if you think they are you're either really lucky or you're probably doing it wrong. Wearing good jeans and wearing them well can be just as hard as wearing a good suit and wearing it well. Outside SF, hell even on SF, I see just as high a percentage of bad jean fits to good jean fits as I do bad suit fits to good suit fits.
