1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Is anyone tuxing it tonight? If no one in this crowd is, then I am afraid there is no longer any hope for Black Tie on New Year's Eve...

No plans for this evening. If anything comes up, though, I'm pulling out the tuxedo. :)

Beautiful. I prefer a leather watch strap, but I guess you don't. Well done.

looks great, stitch! the shoulders look to have settled nicely already, really looks good. I hope I get the chance to try on a Formosa in a couple of sizes next time I'm in the city, thinkin bout the flannel or glen plaid.

I'm staying in, but I did notice there's one black tie required and one black tie optional public NYE event here in Vancouver, probably the world's most casual city (where a hockey jersey is dressy enough to get you into anywhere at all, most nights) - so I'd say it's not dead yet, happily. =)

    Happy new year gentlemen!
A quiet evening at home for me as well! A rather slow night as expected in this place. I think its safe to say several SF:ers are out taking advantage of one of the few occasions a black tie won't be too out of place.
