mimo, if you're going to ThinkSugarbutch[IMG] (very nice of you to say, BTW), you'll have to endorse Ping's tie/hank combo today. I like it. That same hank in a predominantly navy color way would also look great (maybe even better) but we shouldn't let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

    rtc, more like this, please.

No problem mimo and think you have put the finger on a weakness in my wardrobe - my collection of PSs. I do have a fair number but still end up using only a few of them on a consistent basis. I am slowly getting the hang of what PSs that are versatile, so I might try and find a few more of that kind....

Oh, and I love that jacket too...... :nodding:

Dang, I do have the same PS but with blue background. Will try next time.....

For many moons I longed to be in the gun club. When it happened this summer, I wept tears of joy.

Again, thanks for the thumbs yesterday. Today I was on the fence about which jacket to wear. I think the blackwatch was too informal with the worsted trou and silk tie (even if it is paisley), but thoughts welcome. [IMG] [IMG]

Yes indeed. I'll just keep my eyes up top :)

Nice suit (though another indicator to me that you could use a slightly non-SF longer trouser with a little break), good shoe choice, and a masterclass in tie vs PS I would say!

Add my voice to the gun club love. Mine is too big, getting cloth for a new one tomorrow I hope! Not sure that shirt is in the right life, but it's a damn fine jacket :)

    I know you're right. ThinkSugarbutch[IMG]

As if! I almost wish I hadn't said anything. But I think a burnt orange like Butch's new one, would fill a nice gap and match 90% of your awesome suitage very well. I want one too...

As a gentleman of vintage I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he mixed up his house slippers. Nice jacket and flannels, and if there were ever a casual look with a polo that was right, this is it.

First is more "AAS Tribute", and doesn't quite fly. Second look is absolutely top drawer.
