Stitches, what chinos do you usually wear? All of mine look too casual to pair with a sportcoat

i have a few pairs. PRL, SS and BB. they all came with a crease and i believe are meant to be worn in a dressier fashion. i just got beige wool pants, first pair ever, and im very excited about that!

Nailed the pose. I did a double take and even then I double checked to make sure you weren't quoting him!

Thanks! Hopefully the rest of the fit will be too once it's altered.

    The blazer is from '77.

This may be tantamount to heresy on this site, but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the Dockers Signature khakis. Having owned plenty of chinos in my life, I have been impressed with the quality, the weight of the material and the cut. (Certainly, for the price.) I think they hold up rather well to BB for a dressier khaki. Be warned, it is definitely a more contemporary, slimmer cut.

X-post from the holiday spirit challenge. I don't own any Christmas/holiday spirit items, so I tried to use as many seasonal ones without it looking too garish. Fair isle sweater, snow flake flannel shirt, corduroy trousers, snow flake socks and suede/leather boots.

SB that is a Navajo Nation style sq right out of my pocket? Or is my color blindness getting the best of me?

Very nice. The jacket is amazing and the fit is outstanding. [IMG] Details? Also, could you possibly get a tighter shot of the shoes? I want to check their molecular make up? [IMG]
Also, I wish the shirt collar was a bit more spread.

Fred, it's similar, but not a match. Just for you, I've removed it to take a picture:

Thanks, AAS, it's a thrifted Southwick of some variety. I lost the tag somewhere along the way, so I can't say which store sold it. I also wish the collar was more spread, but not so much that I will stop wearing it. Eventually this generation of shirts will be replaced. I have to go MTM to get a decent fit, but I hate the process, so I procrastinate.

This is my favorite fit of yours so far. I love the jacket and bow tie.

SB - I've probably said it before, but that might be my favorite jackets of yours. Fit is great and the pocket square is very nice.

I think it works, SeaJen. Jacket is excellent.

Love the sweater. I'm assuming the jacket is navy, not black - correct? It looks a tad short, but that might just be the camera angle.

Thanks! Yeah, the jacket is navy, and it's indeed a bit short. It's about 1 inch shorter than I'd like, but I'm waiting till I have access to a competent tailor before I lengthen it.

For my first post, my recently delivered ebay win. Some French Shriner's to tide me over until my first post-grad school job I start on Monday actually pays me --
