1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Thank you for the update and useful information. If the weather does not interfere, I plan to be in Chicago, next Monday, and will have the opportunity to stop at the "penthouse" store. I hope they have this coat in stock in my size to try on.

I thought you'd be flattered that I think enough of you to be disappointed.

I'm gonna agree with Canta on this one sorry stitch, though it seems as if we are in the minority. To me, it's one of those close, but not close enough combos. I think the tie is a bit too warm compared to the cooler grey of the suit, you can see it on the close up shot. A black grenadine and charcoal subtle patterned socks would have been perfect.

    Today, feeling orange....

NOBD, I note that you are wearing what might be described as "jeans".

You may or may not be interested to note that I have "thumbed" my approval. They do not look like overalls, they are not in some contrived "crossover fit", and the colours are very pleasant. You look like a gentleman at leisure. Which I'm sure you are. :)

    :)

I'd call them green chino's, mimo. No denim, no 5-pocket. Thank you.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'm tending toward HY and Kent Wang.

Not sure how tall you are, but I'm 6'2" and the Howard Yount's have a rise that is just a wee bit low. Doesn't stop me from wearing my flannels however, the quality is excellent.

    thanks, gents!

    of course i am! :)

but you both should not be disappointed. i would never have expected you to like it. it was a calculated "non good taste fit." i know it would never appeal to you and anyone whos goal is a certain aesthetic. i realized i had a bunch of PoW items. i wanted to wear them together because i thought it would be cool and fun, and it was. i enjoyed it, i was not fired from my job, and many people here liked the look. and i think looked awesome in all its craziness.

yes HC, if i was going for a more tasteful look, a black grenadine and solid socks would have been great.

no it wasnt. if i i thought it was anything other than what i knew it to be, and if i posted it in the GT thread, it would be a fail. considering i was fully aware of what i was doing, it was in no way a fail. i am sure you still look at is fail just in as much as i decided to go ahead and do it.

Stitchy had great fun today. It was an attention getting look and, really, rather clever. It's like having Cocoa Crispies with chocolate milk: The ONLY way to eat them. :D

I rather enjoyed stitchy's look. Sort of a vodka martini take on things.
