CBD teaching Monday. Likely will not get shots the rest of the week due to work madness. [IMG]

I disagree. This tie was made for this suit. Very classic with a little pizzazz.

So much win today, I don't think there was a bad fit among them. I'll try not to ruin that:

Cotton Dockers, sorry bro, but i think that shirt would be best served in a more casual nature. quite like the rest tho.

I would have thought a blue/white glen plaid shirt an entirely suitable match with blazer/flannels - both in terms of colour complement and level of formality.

I used to have two PoW check shirts, but am now convinced it's a suit / tie pattern.

Ahh. That's a different question, and I'm coming to that view as well. I have one that I rarely reach for, but I thought CD's post showed the optimum usage for that pattern.

Left the house sans hank thinking there would be one waiting for me at the office, but no. So...

Optimum usage maybe, but I think would have been much better with a dressier shirt.

SB, did you lose weight or altered your jackets? I don't remember your jacket with that much shape. IMO I think they look a lot better like for example, today's fit.

I was actually in England last spring and purposely did not wear any tartans or regimental stripes. I didn't think it would seriously be an issue, but better safe than sorry.

The fit of the suit looks great. Personally, I wish the lapels rolled a bit more. It looks like a 3 button jacket with the top button undone. Are the lapels supposed to be rolled more or is it just personal preference?
