There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Fair points, but let's not dismiss smoking as "just some other bad habit" here. I hate when it gets lumped in with things like "eating processed foods." My last comments may have been a bit harsh, but anyone who's lost somebody to lung cancer from smoking I'm sure would be sympathetic to that viewpoint. Maybe that's where gringodaddy was coming from. I could go on, but this isn't the place for that. To get us back on point, even though I don't post fits on here very often, here's one from this week, finally got cold enough to break out some tweed:

Donned after 5:30 or so; I didn't violate no rules (satin during the day) or nothing. I did act a bit eccentric this evening.

No fit to post right now, but I'm pretty excited.

Dropped off two of my tweed herringbone blazers to have altered. It was 46 bucks to have them both brought in at the waist AND to have some stitching done on one (small rip on the sleeve and rip on the lining inside at the sleeve-body join). I ALSO traded that navy blazer from the other day, yeah the one that was 2 sizes too big, for a really amazing looking 5 pattern black/white blazer in my size. It fits really well and I'm psyched. I'm going to be dropping a few more things off at this or another tailor early next week or wait a bit to see what they look like when they come back first.

Have a 'thrifting hangout' planned with a friend for tomorrow as well. On the lookout for shirts/slacks/blazers or even a suit. Passing on anything that isn't justttt right or worthy of making right. I feel like posting a weeks worth of things for you gents to critique is already paying dividends. When I put on something now I ask myself WWSFS (what would style forum say) and that usually makes me put it back.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

    wat a doooshe
    --

well, i was not quite expecting all that smoking discussion. i have no problem with people telling me not to smoke (though some people are more tactful about it than others). its a horrible habit to have, i do not deny that for a second. smoking is not cool, and even it was, its no reason to indulge in such an unhealthy activity. however, it does look cool. facts a fact.

I taught Physics up in the Bronx again today. Hopefully, this will be the last time I do that this year.

I wanted to wear this vest cardigan today. It's tweedy with hues of brown, burgundy and purple. I thought the olive pants would go nicely with the colors in the vest. I chose the purple gingham shirt for the same reason. I then added the green knit tie. I thought it went nicely with the pants. It's a darker green so I didn't think it would be too matchy. I chose the blue/grey jacket next. I think it cooled down some of the warm colors. I added the burgundy/brown pocket square last. In summary, I pulled together items with colors similar to the vest. The socks are solid navy and the shoes are burgundy tassel loafers. I also wore a black watch scarf, solid dark brown gloves and a black watch watch cap.

AS, I'm not purposefully trying to be disingenuous, but that is the first great fit I have seen from you in a long time. Very very very very good.
