1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I have no idea what that piece of flair is on the bottom right. Something photobombed me.

End of the day, rumpled gear. The shirt is actually light blue.

Coz I don't find any that I look good in and that I like. They can be nice on others, but on me I feel they are boring.

I think I'll look more in the direction of bolder patterns, like checks. They are more interesting and I have seen so many nice in this tread that I rather explore that road and not the plain which I've been traveling the last years.

Often, the boldest thing to wear is also the simplest. Think Hemingway, I guess, though I'm not sure if literary comparisons translate all that well.

This is true. Simple combinations with an agressive fit can be bold. Im more of a "bold" type but I cant wear the bright stuff at work. I do understand this look/fit is not for everyone.

I'm not sure if I understand what 'think Hemmingway' is.

If you look to Holdfast's beautiful SC over here, you see the direction I rather go for than just plain. Might be more demanding than plain and not so formal, but for me much nicer.

HF: So this style of dressing is opposed to a 3 piece suit with the vest and sport jacket, eh? I never really noticed many people doing that before. I like it though. May try it myself.

Lots of great fits today, Pliny, Pingson, etc. Clags, that is some suit. Very nice indeed.

Bit of a countrified look for me:

You look OK most of the time. No real trainwrecks I can recall. BTW- did you change your username and why if you did?

You know, the thought that just came into my mind when reading your post is that a lot of it is pretty much fashion modeling. Maybe not really "fashion" but it is kind of amateur clothing photography. A lot of the success really comes from your body and how attractive it is/isn't to any one viewer.

These days I'm going to work before sunrise and coming back home after sunset, and the quality of the pictures is clearly affected by this lack of natural light. My social life too. [IMG]

Nice. I had a similar SC, and I always struggled with it. Not sure why I never thought to go brown....
