1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Thanks for the feedback, the tie material is thick cashmere so I will try an alternate method of tying

Go 4-in-hand for Cashmere ties. Though the knot is smaller, there are fewer crossings which will put less stress on the portion of the material that goes into the knot.

thanks! lol, that actually looks pretty nice. i think if i am to wear a PS, it would mostly likely be a simple white PS, when i wear a suit and white shirt. if i remember, that is.

Wear the white PS with a blue or micro-stripe shirt. With a white shirt, wear something that contrasts with your tie. And you're welcome :)

I feel the scale of the patterns on the tie/jacket/square are different, but might be too close - thoughts?

    General love/hate also welcomed.

They're all different shapes and textures and resolve differently at a short distance...I don't think it's really a problem. I think the shirt's a little casual for the tie, but then I am not a fan of button-downs with ties in general, so it's a nit-pick really. I like the colour and texture blends a lot. And the contrast of wine socks an tan shoes; perfect little warming touch for what might otherwise have been a touch staid. Win, I say.

Looks like a full windsor? I agree that it's large, especially with so little shirt visible under the cardigan; I'd go half-windsor. I don't normally like four in hand with a wide spread collar.

    CottonD: such nice colours.
I'm don't like BD with tie that much, but I'll make an exception for this outfit which is yammy. Harmony without boredom.

Tom Miller: Just beautiful. It's something to aspire for. Styish and individual. And fit is good.
For me it's not that common to see one pleat, but it works well on you.
Some may say that the tie is too city, but for me it's perfect with that shirt and suit.
