I hadnt either. Frankly, i dont like it. But i LOVE the shirt. Its an OLD gitman brothers chambray. I thought about cutting them off and not worrying about it, but im used to them now.

congrats on the... the thing that i saw you mentioned some pages ago
(forget if it's internship or residency or what)

i haven't been suiting up for work in over 9 months so i've been away from SF
occasionally popping in to see some pics and browse the classified section
but i just got a new MTM suit and odd pants made so i will be posting some fit pics soon

Of course I'm not being serious, as I've been known to forego an SC for a sweater in the past. D and I have had many discussions about this, but apparently he left out that a cardigan is okay while the v-neck and crew neck are off limits. He's a snake oil salesman, that one.

I used to have a regular (ie button-through) tab collar shirt. Damn thing drove me crazy trying to do it up; maybe my dexterity is below average but half the time, I had to ask one of the girls to do it up when I got to work instead. It didn't suit my preferred tie knot anyway so I got rid of it fairly quickly. The snap/popper tab shown in the picture strikes me as a definite functional improvement on that tiny little button.

And congratulations, Derek.
