Very nice, NYI. So, was it manifesting destiny, or imperialistic bullying? Don't leave us hanging...

Agreed - I dislike them alone with no jacket (although I used to wear that 20 years ago), and I also dislike them not matching with a business suit.  But as you said, this is exactly how it's supposed to be done. :)

Re. NYI's tie, I think it looks OK as the shirt and tie together contrast so much with the rest of the components.  But I do agree that it might work better with another colour group brought in there - if not the tie, then at least a PS.  On which point: I'd appreciate your view on my hurried and non-contrasting choice today - too dull?

I agree, odd waistcoats are less likely to work with suits - it can be done but most often failure is the end result.

Re: you outfit: Looks very conservative business dress to me, nothing I can really fault. Blue on blue on blue works in this case - it's probably one of few colours that will work like that (grey might also work). If I ever get around to posting pictures of what I am wearing today, you'll see that we have picked rather similar outfits, except my suit is a grey/blue PoW .

Couldnt decide which jacket looked better, I feel the DB was a little too casual so i went with the SB on the right.

Whew, finally all my meetings are over for today! This suit has been displayed here a number of times before, but it's one of my favourite suits - so bite me :tounge:! Following Mimo's lead this is rather sparse when it comes to colours - mostly blue and grey.

NOBD has stolen my camera remote, so I must resort to this until the new one comes in.

(Note to self: never post just before NYI!)

Ping - yours is nicer! I love that suit; no shame in giving it a lot of use.

Nice look, Claggy - I really like the shoulders on that jacket.

Edit: Stitch! Nice tie. Clashes with your socks but what the hell, eh?
