There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

If in doubt I always prefer a tie knot too small over one too large, thus a single FIH would have been my preference.
As for the tie itself, I don't like its color/pattern, but I am a sucker for CBD so maybe it's just not conservative enough for my taste but in good taste generally speaking.

This is the most transparently untrue statement you've ever made on StyFo.

Pliny: I would sneak into your home and steal that tie from you. Gorgeous. I have a Drakes similar, but it's too skinny on my larger frame. :( Thanks for the endorsements yesterday! Here is today. Trying indoor shots. Let's see how this goes... [IMG]

Up on the rooftop garden bar here at The Apartment in Shanghai, it's getting cold in the evenings now, and I decided to eke a bit more value out of this cheesy Zara shirt.

I do this all the time. I wear my suits to work.

Thanks for the explanation. I generally hate fat tie knots but I didn't consider this fat. I aimed for the middle grounds, but obviously missed.

The tie is certainly not CBD, I agree absolutely.

Thank you. It seems to be sort of controversial at least. :)

I love the combination of pink shirt and black knit, especially with a charcoal suit to hold it all.

You're the man who won't wear his new-ish shoes if there's a chance of weather. There's no way you're putting anything you like on top of a car.

I can see both sides of this: I like the symmetry and size of a windsor with a spread collar sometimes, but if the tie's a bit thicker or the collar not as wide, the FIH fits fine. There's just something a bit casual and boyish about it, though, so I have to be in that kind of mood.

As for the DFIH, I've adopted that from SF but only for knits, where I find it gives a cool kind of conical thing without stretching the tie about too much. I don't like it on ties with a tighter cloth as it gives a knot that looks stubby and square-ish to me.

So if a windsor is too big or too stuffy, a FIH is too small or too scruffy, then may I recommend a Pratt/Shelby? I like that it's symmetrical and neat - very business - but it's not fat and bulky like a windsor as it lies much flatter. It's definitely my regular go-to for work dress.
