1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Maybe he will but just with the right words [IMG]

Maybe we can get Tits to do a collar mock-up for SVB so that he can see the benefit rather than imagine it. Or submit his picture to get Foofed...

Could be possible. For that I would need to have the highest resolution version of the image file available.

moss, where is the madras shirt from? looks great

    Brooks Brothers.

Those AE's look too sleek for casual wear. Funny, because of SF's affinity for calling them "blobby"

Yeah, maybe so. My wife says that when I wear fits like this, but I do it anyway, because my other option was pretty much desert boots.

Well Mr S considering that you asked, I will opine. Give us the best of both worlds.

Some people do music, some do words, some do numbers, but you do clothes amazingly well!!

Thanks man - that was really nice of you, I appreciate that.

SVB, here are a couple of really quick and dirty mock ups so that perhaps we can settle this once and for all.

The first one is done directly from your photo and abstracts out that collar.

The second one is a touch higher, but the big difference is that the slope of the collar on your neck is shallower so that it appears... for lack of a better way to put it, flatter.

Given these, as far as the height of your collar goes, I think that this shirt is just fine. The thing that really makes difference, looks, at least to me, to be the slope around the front of your neck. I hope that these are of use to you.

Very nice outfit Sir. You could / should have about 2cm more pocket square showing though. I see that your watch strap and dog leash match!! [IMG]
Oh trust me, I'm fully aware of the PS-problem in these pics. The matching of dog leash and watch strap was actually unintended. [IMG]

Lufty the lower quarters on your sack jackets aren't flattering to you at all.

+100. This one is especially bad.

Banis, the Solaro looks great. I love the G&R shirt fabrics.

See you all around. Docking in for a few.

you really do lead the life man, and as always, great style and fantastic pics.. always appreciate it when you blow back into town and give me something to be bitterly envious of.. [IMG]

    happy Saturday ladies,

Im 99.5% a fan, gnat - but Im not feeling this one. The jacket seems too close to the trou in my eye, and the gingham/dot combo seems too stark next to the jacket. This seems to be more of a point collar, not like your others - IIRC your other (or most recent, anyhow) collars are a bit more spread, which I prefer.

I like DB suits/ sport coats, but I think that jacket has a little too much shoulder padding.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Can anything be done about that?

If you zoom out a little, we can get a better feel for the silhouette.
