1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I think those lapels call for a Windsor Knot....the Four-in-Hand is not in proportion.

The issue is more with his collar than his knot. And nothing calls for a full windsor (though I'm partial to half windsors myself)

looks like a mix of all of the above...the knot is really small, lapels are huge, and collar points are short...I think it always looks off when the collar points dont reach the lapels.

Judging by the pulling at the front and the back, the shortness of sleeves and back, and so on, that jacket is slightly too small for you. The very large lapels would be fine if the jacket fitted properly, but because it's too small, they look a little out of propotion. I think you'd also be better with a spread or semi-spread collar. Also, yes, a little too much blue.

I put cuffs on a pair of cashmere pants over the weekend and I can only agree to the PJ comment, most comfortable trousers I have ever worn :inlove:

Yes, same for me, the trousers are part of a 3pc suit (jacket is with the tailor now to fix sleeve length). Just dying to wear that suit, first day as the jacket is back I am wearing that baby....

    Mazel tov, Pingson!

I think a non-brown tie would have looked better with today's fit.

black_umbrella: Why do you want smaller pictures? Are you ashamed of what you're wearing? :)

This is a great silhouette (I'd want cuffs, but that's purely personal), but I think the tie doesn't keep up. Though I like the note of pure restraint that the square brings, I think the tie is a little too restrained. Bold balances bold, after all. Some kind of paisley might be nice -- not necessarily an "FU" type of thing, but at least a "buzz off."

Yeah, I prefer cuffs as well, but there wasn't enough fabric. I wore it with an FU tie last week, although the tie was just for the pictures. Didn't really get a positive response on here. I still think a navy grenadine is best for this suit, but it's boring to always wear the same tie with the same suit, so I'm experimenting a little.

I also dunno why you want smaller pics. It looks really good on my screen and fits just perfect as well.
