With thanks (and apologies?) to Gregaz and IST who I think have both posted rust/ginger coloured SCs in the recent past. I thought it was a great look so have tried to emulate them with this thrifted version. The colour seems more appropriate for Autumn but it's lightweight linen and completely unstructured, no shoulder pads or lining except for the sleeves. I would be interested to learn other colour combo suggestions. I think some walnut shoes would be better than burgundy and am on the hunt for some soon.

I wouldn't have the nerve to wear that tie, but it works well for you.
I'd lose the windsor knot, however.
Overall, an elegant ensemble.

Simple - elegant.

I love the color. Not so the cut. No padding is great, but the jacket is short
for my taste. The lapels look French.

It's very loud. I bet you'd get lots of comments on it from people in person, but SF tastes tend to gravitate towards more sober, muted and toned-down outfits and colors. I'm not a fan, but the suit looks nice.

Well Navi, I dont mean for any insults but you are alot younger then the average SFer (and so am I

) so your choice of dress seems a bit old for your age as would it be for mine

True. It's not like I'm going out clubbing dressed in a suit or something, I go to work dressed like this because I have to and I enjoy it. I've stopped worrying about dressing my age, I just wear what things that I like!

But I was just trying to help you get an idea why some SFers won't like that tie.

Im with you 100%. I don't yet need to dress up for work everyday, but I do have a slight obsession/collection of suits (mostly Bespoke). I also just saw a picture of you wearing single monks which seemed a bit old for a young guy like you. Hey to each their own

I wear dull expensive ties, some of which are subtly interesting. They reflect
my understated personality...and, my natural modesty. You tie is fine and makes
a strong statement.
