Yup. He's been on my ignore for a while for that reason. Several others along with him. Ignore is one of the greatest functions on this site.

Thanks Mimo, it's nice to have some one else take the pic instead of relying on a wall and the timer...

Some people cringe at the sight, and yeah, really short jackets are awful. However I think people here go a bit overboard when they see something a little on the short side.

A remote and a tripod would solve all TTO's problems, photographically, though he has the advantage of having been photographed professionally, something of which most of the rest of the us have not had the pleasure.

The suit is excellent, and TTO wears it well.

A strong gin & T. will solve most of my problems & to be honest, even with my knackered old camera/wall/timer technique, I'd still say my pic's where fairly good, in fact I've been asked who takes them on a couple of occasions...the folks at my local train-station are always amused/bemused when I stop there to take pictures though...

My comments were not a critique of your results, merely an observation that a tripod is more adjustable for height than a brick wall. As for the bemused/amused factor, when I used to take photos in Battery Park, I got all sorts of strange looks, or offers of assistance, mostly from the tourists who seem to be permanently stationed in the area. It's much easier to do photos in the privacy of my living room now :satisfied:.

100% of this post is win.

    100%.

I skipped the pics today, gents. Only AAS would have approved, with my patch madras tie, OCBD, linen (STILL TECHNICALLY SUMMER DAMMIT!) navy SC, Nantucket reds and cordo calf loafers. (But I am wearing socks).

Thanks for the suggestion, I had forgotten about the ignore button! This thread has been a total anarchy in the past few days, I had almost given up on trying to browse it on my phone.
