bluedove: Thanks. It's a DFIH. This tie stays wide-ish through the part of the tie which forms the knot, thus the longer knot.

Thanks, Stitchy!

Casual with my only current jeans, bespoke sweater jacket, handsewn Saint Crispin's belt and random accessories.

I don't think I will ever embrace the sweater.

I have more normal ones as well, but then again also really abonormal ones, especially for summer from a widely knitted cotton/silk blend which looks like chain armour. My foo-esque philosophy is, that I can buy normal (good) sweaters in stores (other than buying any type of really good tailored clothing), when I get them fully handknitted to my specifications, then my specifications go overboard somehow.

It's really hard to tell anything with that one picture. Colors are washed out due to the lighting, as you mentioned, and we can't tell how well it fits based on the one close-up shot.

Your knitwear seems to be better than suits lately.

Can you please tell me if this suit is fits right?  Is it OK?
First set of photos are jacket buttoned,  second set is jacket open.
Please excuse the fact that nothing is hemmed, basting threads not removed, etc.
Any advice most gratefully appreciated!!

Before I start or anyone starts on the suit, can you get better fitted shirts?
The suit does look quiet nice, after all those alternation are done, but there might be a little problem of the sleeve pitch, but i am not sure.

I am just speechless over the fact that a man in Portland is wearing a suit and tie!

I think the only men in Portland who wear suits are bank managers, attorneys on their way to court and Nordstrom salesmen.
