1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I think it could lift a very nice outfit.
As it is now, to me the grey and informal socks make a visual stop, a barrier, and disconnect the shoe from the leg.

A rare miss, Clags. Scale doesn't jive, fit is off, and the PS does nothing but muddle this for me. I like each individual component, but they just don't do it for me together. You have set the bar so high for yourself in the past that I hesitate to be so harsh, but your past excellence demands more from this, I'd say. Still love your style, bro. No hate.

It's bound to happen some of the time. [IMG]

I've never really felt comfortable with that jacket. Perhaps it should be retired. I've never really grown comfortable with anything outside the blue/brown/gray range of things when it comes to jacketing. Tan may be beyond me.

Don't retire the jacket, mang. It's a fine piece if you ask me. I'd have just worn it with darker trousers, an OCBD blue shirt, and a simpler square. I have always loved the cooling affect of a navy knit tie with a warmer colored jacket, so that isn't bad IMO. It simply all looks very summer, whereas the jacket looks very fall. A simple mixing of metaphors is all.

You guessed it. Does your uncertainty mean they look better on me than last time? I'm thinking about just posting top shots from now on until I step up my shoe game. Pun intended.

Disagree. Depends on what you're trying to accomplish. To each his own.

Better late than never for today. Last wearings of the summer items coming up, I suspect.

Smart looking tie with a crisp knot. Nice shirt collar.

You'd think a couple of the elements would work together, if only by accident, but that isn't the case.

It's a nice jacket; cream trousers goes well with it. A different shirt/square combo and it would have looked great. And it's also nice to see you taking pics outside of the bathroom!

I left the bathroom behind a month ago. It had been the kitchen for a while.

Neither background will be making an appearance again. I moved out of my city central bachelor flat into a larger (and new) suburban apartment. I now have an hour commute to work. But I also have an entire bedroom which functions as a dedicated closet.

I'm seriously green with envy; this is the only thing I miss in my home. Admittedly, I do use the wardrobe in my spare bedroom for my off-season clothes, but I can't devote the entire room to clothes.

So far, a relaxed Friday, after a rather busy week or so...
