Terrific outfit, the color combination is just on point. I have one question though, how do you feel about wearing worsted trousers with a tweed odd coat? I have read many times that trousers have more leeway being able to be donned with a more formal coat, but not the opposite. Honestly, I'm not very convinced and I go against that suggestion many times.

Is that jacket Belvest? If so it makes me upset I did not get pictures of today's fit.

Good god. Apparently Iphone shots while stuck in traffic attempt to focus behind you. I promise to do better.

I don't have any troubles with these particular trousers, even though they are worsted, there is both some texture and pattern to the cloth, which I think makes them OK with a heavier coat. I don't think it would work if they were regular (smooth) worsted suit trousers.

Hi guise- thank you for the likes

Pings and VE I didn't notice the worsted, but I agree that a rougher, textured worsted such as yours works. cavalry twill or flannel or corduroy I like too

ME- you've gotta hell of a drop. That DB fits u like a 2nd skin.

.. Trying out another blue on grey combo-

Henry Carter plum grenadine (fina, i think) on
Kamakura OCBD in the Tokyo Slim fit. Their Oxford cloth is their thickest, but not as heavy as BB's standard Oxford IMO. Still good though, with a smoother finish, flatter and with less of a sheen than a Royal Oxford, and somehow it rolls better- more elasticity in the cloth I guess.

Anyway this one's got more of a roll and more tie space than yesterday HF, prob because this one's a half size up.

Gorgeous day here in NYC. Wish we had 8 months of days like today! Oh yeah, then we'd be San Diego.

Anywho, I've been trying forever to find a tie that I really like with this suit. The search continues but for now, how's this one? Not sure what's going on with my sleeves....:embar:

    Suit: Dino Baldini
    Shirt: A. Bastile
    Tie: Altea

ps I didn't realize that my ps had exploded until after the pics were taken. My 12 yo daughter takes better pics than I do!

just have to manipulate the focus. use the camera + app, its way better for fit pics. try looking in the rear view mirror to see the screen and where the focus is. regardless, that was a very good fit.

Nice, HF. Who makes that jacket? The patterns my MTM stuff uses seem to be almost identical, very English.

And I'm hoping the opposite - summer must go away! It's still too warm! [IMG]
