I think the trouser length is fine. Just needs to be slimmed slightly from the knee down.

Really interesting relationship between the texture of the jacket and tie. There is an industrial rock pile a few miles from where I live that has these neat piles of minerals each divide into it's constituent materials. The effect is a rainbow of slatey, rocky, stuff sitting in rows according to color. This immediately reminded me of it and I thought it was cool. I don't think I'm convinced about the pink shirt and the red edge to the PS. To me it warms it up a little TOO much. I would have gone with one or the other, but I think I'd favor ditching the shirt.

FAIK yep. IIRC its a fit discipline with Foo sos to force his focus on the rest of the look. but thats Foo.
Minimum IMO would be #8 cordo blucher, black cap Oxfords, suede boot or bluchers, 2 shades of brown box dress shoes
    and then set and forget.

What I am now willing to admit I need is suede. Shame I missed out on HY's sale.

    Edit: no loafers!

Well, driving moccs, obviously. But they hardly count.

Boooooo! You might as well say no beer. Loafers are nearly all I wear these days.

Also, I have several pairs of suede shoes in various configurations, but I hardly wear them anymore. Dunno why, but they aren't as useful to me as I thought they would be when I first got them.

Yep.. three suede string loafers, one full strap navy shell loafer.. and I want more. PB says they're the lazy man shoe. I can live with that.

And the short vamp means no shoe horn.

I love loafers during summertime, they're just so comfortable. It sounds like you're missing an essential pair in your loafer collection though, the tasseled variety.

I had some. Then returned them. I'm not sure I can rock them. I'll be getting penny loafers though

Why can't you rock them? Not appropriate in your line of work?

Well, nothing I wear is appropriate for my line of work. I'm in IT.

Putting that aside, it's about how far I can push the bounds of 'Looking good, bro!' to 'Really? Why?' I think suede tassels like RDiaz wears could work alright, but I'm holding off, as I don't even have any staples. I don't have any brown shoes besides my EG Westminsters. I need some brown captoes for my next purchase. I was going to get that instead of the full strap navy shell, but I couldn't hold back. I mean, SHIT are these going to be hot.

True, it really depends on your environment. I have dark brown suede tassels, which I prefer to leather ones as well. Those navy loafers are awesome! I already have navy monks, so burgundy shell loafers are next on my list. But yeah, you should really go for some nice dark brown captoes, probably the most versatile shoe there is.

Yep. It's not within my price range but I'm debating holding off to find some EG Asquith on 888. I LOVE the EG 888 last. Fits as good as Simpson, or better, on my foot.

My first post on this thing.

Looking for some feedback concerning fit. And what about the pocket square?

    Date night with the Mrs.

    (Sorry about the picture-quality).

New Epaulet FF chinos, D&G mainline linen blazer, Kamakura shirt, Drakes tie, and Meermin shoes. The fabric of the FF chinos is amazing, it's very soft and lightweight, and feels very luxurious for chinos. The color is also great, with a very nice orange/blue overcheck. I rolled them up for now, while I decide whether I should cuff them. Had difficulty taking pictures, they were either too dark or too light.
