1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Thanks for the feedback.

This is my first double breasted suit from Beckett & Robb. I do think it has some issues. I'm wondering if my alterations tailor can intervene and fix things.

    Just an example....

Yes, but WHY? This is a whole long post about how 'bad' it looks, but I can't find anything specific here to indicate what you see wrong with it and what he can do about it! It's useful criticism as a starting point to say there's some issues, but it just goes nowhere from there... the closest point was that it was 'unflattering'....

Several other posters had already pointed out specifics. There was no need to repeat it.

    a) Mind blown. Master-Classer is actually Master-Classter
    b) Kai, what would happen if you shortened the jacket a bit and toned down the waist suppression? Is this crazy talk?

If others pointed out the substantive issues, what was the point of your post?

Today's boring fit. Just didn't feel up to being adventurous today. The pants to this suit drive me nuts. After several attempts to properly taper them, I find I need to go in with the knife one more time to get it right...Sheesh!

Good, deep tie vagina today though.

I think he got mislead/ screwed by whoever sold it to him and/ or who did the tailoring. While I have seen worse-fitting suits on this board, I have never seen anyone buy that expensive of a garment that was so ill-suited to the wearer. Not one person has anything positive to say about the suit, and for good reason. And in the past I have been highly-complimentary to Kai for fits that stirred some controversy.

Isn't it interesting how Kai thanked me for my post yet others seems to be so offended? People who have been on this board for a while know that I generally endeavor to be constructive, and I thought I framed my comments as nicely as possible. Do you know how many times people have played "Pile-up on the Newbie" on this board over the years? Has anyone ever seen me do it? There have been many occasions where a new guy posts for the first time in a poorly-fitting Mens Wearhouse nightmare and the first posts they see are pretty much "your suit sucks" and I have been among the few who have tried to steer them in the right direction and welcomed them to the board.

Why'd you match the PS and tie? They should go together, compliment each other. Not match like a box set. I think that's especially important considering they're

    a) loud, red colors
    b) lost in the negative space of grey and white.

I also think the buttons are supposed to be a bit darker if it's a suit, right?

Collar looks good though. So does the fit. [IMG]

Gentlemen (and Stitchy :p ), let's not make this "tie vagina" business into a thing.
