Monkeyface, incredible suit - very jealous. I, like others, am not enamoured of the shirt - but you've already explained why it had to be worn that day.

Just adding my thumbs-up to the chorus of approval. In this instance I don't think a matchy square is such a sin. And the fit of the jacket is perfect. I suspect your recently-announced diet/exercise regime is already paying dividends. Kind of inspires me to do something about my Louis Treize paunch.

OK, I'm a newbie, but I haven't seen a crew-neck jumper included in a fit on this thread before. I like this one as a stand-alone piece but not sure I'd wear it under a SC, especially one with such a beautiful lapel structure, with which this jumper competes for attention.

Come winter, do folks here ever include overcoats in their fit pix?

Interesting, don! To my eye, this suit with trimmer, shorter jacket and slightly slimmer trouser has a huge advantage over other suits I've seen ya post-- I like this one and double breasted best so far!

    Hello fellow SFers,

Just picked up my very first pair of double monk and trying to figure out the best way to rock it. Was a bit unsure wearing it with a suit, however I think I nailed it with the odd jacket look. Is it SF approved? Please excuse the gym room.

Off to church. Jacket is linen by Faconnable, cotton trou by Incotex, shirt A. Basile. These loafers are of the absolute softest leather I've ever felt on a shoe. LOVE THEM (Bruno Magli)!

The jacket is a medium blue herringbone with a muted red plaid.

What color are those pants? They look like a grey-ish tan. I like it.

Rainy and gloomy Sunday morning in DC. This is unchartered territory for me with these new ties. I am good with all my fit hence only the close up shots. Looking for feedback on tie-shirt-suit combo. Thanks!

mini puppytooth with black and brown.

Rudals, you've got to have more contrast between your tie and your jacket.

A deft hand I am not at the shop:

Rudals - looks quite nice to me. some more contrast would be nice, as clags said, but i think it works as a somber, somewhat monochromatic, fit.
