straight from the bar stool:
Best use of a shirt monogram I've even seen.
I had some resistance too when I started bring my stuff to my tailor, but the bottom line is that you are the boss. You have to wear the clothes, not the tailor. You have to be firm and say, "Yes, I understand that you think they are long or short enough, but I don't think so, and I want them a bit shorter /longer". The tailor will adapt to your personal preferences when dealing with you.
oh well. one day...ONE day ill find a guy who gets me..
fantastic vest. Love it!
plusfuckingone
my tailor still busts my balls about it. about 50% of the time when i go back to pick them up theyre still too long and i have to have him redo.
"but when you cross your legs your pants will be up to your knees!!"

Also, does anybody else have a female alteration tailor? It seems a bit weird, but she's been great so far compared to my previous tailor (especially on the shoulders of a few jackets), and a number of people have confirmed that she's one of the better ones in Seoul. She is, however, slower than salvation.
The thing is that neither a full break nor a minimal break are wrong per se, unless the break is excessive or socks are showing, of course. And depending on how wide the leg opening is, you might want more or less break. But in the end, it's all down to personal preference, and that is what the tailor should understand, instead of trying to impose what he likes...I like a lot of break. My tailor always gave me crap about it when I brought in jackets to be altered. Then she started hemming my pants for free. You might ask if this involves me waiting around my tailors' in boxers reading a book. And the answer is yes, yes it does. This has happened twice (but the second time I had had a pair of pants there to be altered, so I just wore those to Starbucks, had a coffee, and came back and switched them out to the pants I was wearing that day). We compromised on half break.

newsflash- mostly white people attend allQuoted for truth.
I like a lot of the GZA and Ghostface solo too. However, I thought only white people listened to Wu Tang. At least that is who mostly attends their concerts.
Shirt brand? Borrelli?
Is that shirt light blue or white? The pale pink with the grey is fantastic.
One day I will have trousers that fit that well.
I like the concept but I would have gone with a more subdued tie. Perhaps an eggplant or wine color. On the other hand, I've never been able to reconcile the British love for pink ties.
