1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I was too, but then my kids started fighting and my thoughts about adjusting were sucked away before walking out the door. Buuuuut, open to your thoughts all the same.

I would recommend a solid navy tie with that pocket square or a solid white square with that tie.

This might benefit from a light blue shirt.

I agree. The tie is too wild for a white shirt. There's definitely a time and place for white shirts and I don't think they're used enough, but the tie gets extra loud surrounded by the negative space created by the white shirt.

Don't confuse this with me saying the tie is not awesome. That would be wrong.

I straight up Find/Replace for double spaces on any documents/decks/whatever I am in charge of. Drives me nuts, proper or not.

If there's one thing consulting will beat into your head, it's a ridiculous attention to detail. Little things like double spaces start to drive you nuts.

I've had partners break out rulers and ream people out when the alignment between slides is off by a millimeter.

This. A lot of your fits are snug but with these high waters you look too outgrown. Put some jam on your shoes and invite your trousers down for tea one day.

Why would I ruin my shoes by putting preserves on them? Neither my pants nor my shoes are capable of consuming beverages. Save the metaphors and speak directly. I like the length of my pants. I know it's not traditional, but I'm going to keep them the way they are. I'm also happy with the current buff of my shoes. Thank you for the recommendations.

^^just out of curiosity...no snark intended at all...but why do you post on SF? It seems you rebuke any critiques on your fits.

nah I think AAS takes critiques well. There are certain things that he has decided will stay as is which is fine. They are style quirks that for the most part I can accept

certain things? it seems hes set on everything. I dont see the point posting here unless youre here to learn or youve reached "sartorial nirvana" and can help others on their way.
