i agree with this. I think i was just basing my opinions off of my own fit. But i do agree with you when looking at it from those terms. I think 2" cuffs on you with super slim #menswear trous would look pretty odd.

I must agree that your scenario makes no sense Derk - Stitchy only eats kosher meat, and you've got "drapes".

Now you two children play nice now, or I'll be forced to send you each to your respective rooms without your supper AND without your G & G Decos.

Fotos are before my nightshift in the hotel. It was short before the sunset so light was not such bright. I think that is the reason that the creases seems much stronger than they really are.

Looks good but for some reason I'm getting creeped out by you looking at the camera. Like you're looking in to my soul.

    edit:
On a real note - Was that suit second hand? The left sleeve looks shorter but your actual arm doesn't look longer, it actually looks.. even shorter..

More UCBD today. There's a bigger contrast between the suit and tie in real life.

This was my first time wearing a Charles Tyrwhitt shirt, and I absolutely HATE the collars. The collar points are too short, so they peep out over the lapels from time to time, there's too much tie space and the collar itself is too stiff, so there's no collar roll over the tie. On top of that they're just very uncomfortable to wear. Never buying a CT shirt again.

Its second hand (good old Burberrys with "s" from ebay for only 10 Euro). I am left handed and so my watch is on the right side. This is why the sleeve from the shirt is a little bit shorter on the right side and so it seems that the suits left sleeve is a little bit shorter.

That's why I only go for CT spread collars. Longer points and they hide behind my jacket lapels just fine. Also, my latest CT shirts have much softer collars than previous versions.

I bought it last week. They didn't have a spread collar in my size with double cuffs in the store though :(

Nice look, MF (tho a rather unfortunate acronym you hold).

Don - that may be your best fit yet.

Agree with estitchy, that is a nice fit DonCologne. Although I would use a collar with bigger collar points. That would look amazing! [IMG]

"Espú... tu eres el Mirrrey!" [IMG] That is what some ladies would say to you if they see you with that SC around here, but the combo looks perfectly fine, I would use that for sure. [IMG]

Ah. I won't buy the regular CT point collar shirts, for precisely the reasons you cited.

Sure. Not the greatest image quality, but this gives you an idea of CT's spread collar. Shirt looks white in the pic, but it's actually a faint blue hairline stripe--one of my favorites:

You can see that even with my jacket unbuttoned, the collar points hide nicely behind my lapels. Also has a gentle roll to it, and not much tie space. For me, it's pretty close to the ideal spread collar.

P.S. Jester, you might recognize the pic from the KW thread. :p
