1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Very nice. I am usually not a fan of multi-striped shirts, but you make it (the whole combination) look appealing.

ho hum monday. apologies for the poor cell camera shots. i'll eventually get around to fixing the divots.

    Yes.
Day started cloudy, then turned bright & sunny. Possibly, this variability is reflected in my outfit...

If you had glasses, I would say you are the epitome of Clark Kent, Mild Mannered Reporter. Nicely and neatly done. I might think the jacket is a tinge short, however...but only if I were a SFacist.

My pops retirement party today...30+ years of service to Catholic Education in NYC. Bishop Loughlin (had Mark Jackson in his English class), Bishop Kearney, and the last 9 as principal of Notre Dame Academy HS. I'm real proud and happy for my old man. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
Awesome. This outfit is perfect to my eyes, and congrats to your pops.
    Suit week.
[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Belt is navy. [IMG][/spoiler]

This is good, but would be better with a solid shirt.
more boring stuff to start the week:

This is BAD. (Boring, yet Awesome Dress).
Me and my bro. the grey suit brothers.

I like everything but the anemic shirt collar. You'd be better served with an OCBD or a collar with longer points.

This would also have been better with a solid shirt.
To my eye, that jacket is one of the best fitting ones in your wardrobe. Good look all round.
Thanks. I think the buttoning point is a little low for my tastes, but it's Oxxford and it was a steal.
Love the shirt and suit, but I wish you had a different tie.

Another great fit great, but would be improved with a solid shirt.

Thanks. This shirt has the best collar roll of any I own (non button-down) on account of it being completely unlined and it fills a niche in terms of its fabric/color. But I agree, it'd be better longer!

There's a good look here trying to get out, but I'm not really feeling it. Part of it's probably the undone shirt collar/loosened tie which rarely looks as good as it sounds.
Thanks. I think the buttoning point is a little low for my tastes, but it's Oxxford and it was a steal.
To my eye, the buttoning point on your suit seems spot-on, but of course everyone's preference varies a bit.
Colour, or pattern? I would understand if it's the pattern... that certainly won't be to most people's liking! Colour-wise, though, I feel it's about right.

I think a sold tie would have nailed it with the gingham check shirt. This tie would have nailed it with a solid white or lilac shirt.

These are all [IMG] NYR - that SC is awesome.

^HF - I like the suit and shirt and the grey and purple gingham work well together, but the tie needs to be burned.
    Orgetorix, ndw, excellent stuff!
    Thanks

I was gonna x-post in CBD, but I figured that the orange tie really wasn't going to cut it, even for spring/summer. Then there's the hosiery issue...

I note that this lightweight worsted just immediately wrinkles in my gentlemanly area and holds on to the creases for the rest of the day.

BTW, diggin' on Orge's tie and ndw's linen(?) suit.

I promised not to post any more until I found a real working camera but I just got this navy Brooks Brothers SC with waist suppression already built in. El Tigre eggshell linen slacks.
