There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Thanks, Orge. PRL, fatto a Italia.

I was pretty certain the hank would be divisive. Here's a medium-distance shot so you can make up your mind about the shirt:

Eclectic mix of new and old. English military hospital jacket from 1941, Italian straw boater hat "Mondial" from 1940-50´s. Belt from recycled fire hose. Swedish Oscar-shirt, italian silk tie "Lario" and Crocket & Jones shoes - all are second hand. New Brooksfield trousers. Certina watch from the 70´s. French wine from Alsace 2011.

i meant to post this response in the good taste thread. No likey the shirt nor clown square. looks good from a distance but messy up close.
yes i usually wear this tie with a solid white shirt, but i recently saw cantabrigian pull it off with a butcher stripe (?) and i actually prefer this over a solid blue shirt.

I don't know what decade you grew up in or where, but it's pretty loose out here in the 2010s. I am 1 of 60 teachers at my school who wears a sport coat everyday. There are only 4 of us who wear a shirt and tie everyday. Times is hard.

After Cantabs was usurped early on by Clap, it's Mr Booth who now charges to the front of the pack in the "C*** of the Day" stakes...[IMG]

I actually taught that equation to the left of his head today. I should pull this photo up tomorrow during class.

Some damn good stuff in this thread today; clearly Mondays agree with some of you! I don't much like them myself, but I did enjoy all the sunshine we got today:

I really like that tie (and, I mean, who wouldn't?). But for some reason I get stuck on the shirt - just seems off and I have no idea why. If I had to guess, I'd say its too royal for an almost midnight shirt and tie.

I'm a sucker for white tie stripe / white shirt, especially with a sharp, very dark suit. But that's probably a lot more facile than what you were aiming for.

The picture doesn't do it justice, but the blue in the shirt is actually navy, too. All the blue also seems to have thrown off the camera because the ground of the shirt is more clearly white in person.
