Shah, are those pant cuffs rolled? There's a pegged quality to it which seems at odds with the overall vibe. In general, the impression is that it doesn't fit instead of having a relaxed fit. If the fit issues were resolved, I would be cool with that silhouette.

Big A, deets on the shoes please!
    Are they bespoke or RTW?
I really like the sleek toe box paired with the chunky waist.

    Get well soon!

Love this. The trouser fit and length is perfect now, which lets you get away with other quirks. The result is that you come off with a distinct style, rather than just looking like an oddball.
I look forward to more of your efforts, old sport.

You bastards. I am a stubborn, cussed sort of man, but you've got to me. When my father showed me how to do up a tie, and I mis-remembered it, it became the slightly backwards half windsor that has been my ubiquitous and lovely triangular staple for my entire school and professional life. It even attracts comment now and then, my neat little triangle. My business partner, a while back, actually asked me to show him how I do my tie. The only downside has been that, as I'm endowed with an unusually thick neck (to support my big head, there, I'll say it), I tend to need a longer tie, or a clip to hold the little stumpy back of it out of sight.

Then today I picked out a shirt with a narrow-gapped, downward-pointing French-ish collar, rather than the more Anglo-American. lapel-hidden spread . And the SF peer pressure at the back of my brain told me "four-in-hand, asshole". So for the first time, no kidding, in thirty years of wearing a tie, I did. This rakish asymmetry just feels wrong, at least to start with. But I admit, with this kind of collar, it looks...nice. It also leaves enough to tuck the back in without a shiny clip (I wear them, but I don't actually like them much). And when I popped in to Fedex to collect my newest noisy pocket squares (also your fault), the two Filipina chicks waiting next to me, totally gave me the eye.

So, bastards, here I am admitting: in certain limited circumstances, you are right. There, I said it.

With those pants ... in that heat. Anyways hot or cold he should wear socks (I don't think the ''without socks'' suits him) and it drag down his nice outfits.
